Timber forms most of the structural and the decorative elements of this building. This gives fantastic insulation qualities but requires careful attention to detail during construction.
External moisture is kept out by the timber cladding and high performance vapour permeable membranes. Air permeable but vapour blocking membranes, on the internal side, stop internal condensation reaching the structure.
